sometimes the communication gap with v is just too wide.

jus now tried to discuss with v about me considering doing an MPhil or MA degree. she said no within 10 seconds, cos she thinks it is waste of money n time and wouldnt help with career. maybe i should take it as a yes cos the opposite of her advice is often the right one. she also said i shouldnt do weird electronic sounds but that was what won me the award and brought me most of the jobs i got.

she said i should try harder to work for Mirror n Edward Chan... well i dun disagree that working on commercially successful songs would be helpful to career... but maybe that's also not sth im most cut out for... the artistic / academic side of things often interests me more. not saying i'd turn out a job to work for Mirror or other idols, but i just wouldnt crave to do it.

taking a step back, why do i need to ask v for advice? she's obviously zero-informed about the art scene. so kei sud her advice shouldn't be too relevant ge.
