12.2.2024 (Tai Wai see flats)

lunch at 寶翠園 cha lau with 大姨媽姨丈 who came back from Las Vegas，and other mom side relatives. then today (12 Feb) afternoon 4pm see flats with v at Tai Wai. i arrived early around 2pm. cant find anywhere to sit in the mall. probably cos many ppl go 車公廟 it's 初三. walked into town center, also every restaurant / cafe full. so ended up i found a quiet park to sit and read.

quiet park

not too cold, n there was some nice sunshine. a few filipino / indonesian je je were sitting next to me. they set up a phone for singing karaoke. i didnt look at them much but somehow they didnt bother me. also their singing technique-wise reli not bad. me enjoying this book on kindle app on my phone, about Sound art theory and philosophy which is quite interesting n i kept highlighting. am i a suk suk who sits in a park n read now? that's not bad actually.

see flats

around 3:45pm v arrived and we went check out a few 租盤. saw 柏傲莊 and then 名城. first one is decent of cos and fancy, but quite pricey. location is indeed attractive. 名城 is much older but better shape n size, less convenient. we not in a rush to move, jus good to walk around n learn more. also checked out 火炭御龍山 a bit but it's also older n has a strong smell. i guess not easy to find a significantly better option than malibu. malibu overall is not bad, it's only the location that's less convenient.

dreams

recently been going to bed a lot earlier. almost every night im having dreams. that means more deep sleep i guess? i usually cant recall what the dreams were about, but i remember you were in maybe half of the dreams.

learning language on netflix with chrome extension

recently found that there are chrome extensions that allow you to have double subtitles on netflix, e.g. French + English / German + Chinese. im using one called Language React. seems fun. i can even point at a word any time and it would give me the dictionary meaning n pronounciation n examples of usage. guess u might like this too
