manvsmachine (mvm)
manvsmachine (mvm) is a trio formed in 2019 by Hong Kong based musicians, hirsk (electronics / eurorack), Daniel Chu (pianist) and Blue Kwok (drummer). Their musical influences range from jazz, electronic, rock, traditional / ethnic to free improvisation. hirsk and Daniel met at the Berklee College of Music. They were later joined by Blue who was a student of drummer Mark Guiliana. They explore boundaries between computer music and improvisation.
